Young European citizens united in diversity (2015)

Summary

A diverse European group of young people came together between 13th and 19th of July 2015, in Milcoveni, Romania, for the 'Young People United in Diversity’ youth exchange co-funded by Erasmus+. 

The project aimed to help the participants develop intercultural competencies and promote tolerance towards people from different cultural backgrounds. The theme of the exchange was European citizenship.

Through different practical projects the young participants’ explored European citizenship through their own identities. These experiences contributed greatly to the understanding of different countries and cultures. The feedback from the participants therefore included statements like “it was the best experience of my life” and “I didn’t expect that a particular event or trip could impact my life so greatly”.
