During 40 months, the YES Forum will be part of the pilot project SAAM (Supporting Alliance for African Mobility). It is a project led by the Spanish VET training centre SanViator and coordinated by the Spanish Mobility Organization, Asociación Mundus.
Partners
SAAM coordinates 32 VET organizations across 8 EU Member States (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal and Spain) and 17 African countries (Angola, Benin, Cabo Verde, Eritrea, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Tunisia, Chad, Mali, Burkina Fasso and Gabon). This outstanding partnership gathers a huge network of professional training centers, non-formal training organizations, NGOs and European umbrella organizations.
Objectives and Activities
SAAM aims to support the mobility of VET teachers and students across a range of disciplines. This alliance targets the development of new curricula, methodologies, technologies and management, and aims possible structures for the enhancement of mobilities between Africa and Europe using training job-shadowing and knowledge acquisition on internationalization, transparency tools and educational pathways. Along 40 months, 70 European teachers, 135 African teachers and more than 300 students will move between both continents.
