EVS4ALL - Short-Term EVS in Germany (2016-2017)

Action: Erasmus+ KA1 - European Voluntary Service |

Project coordinator: YES Forum

Summary

The projects “EVS4ALL: A real European experience” and “EVS4ALL: Young people for Europe” were both part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “European Voluntary Service for All” (EVS4ALL).

The overarching EVS4ALL (KA2) project is a cooperation of 14 partners from France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Spain and the UK. EVS4ALL aims to enhance European civil society and youth engagement by expanding the European Voluntary Service, especially to young people with fewer opportunities, based on the pan-European campaign started with the manifesto "We are Europe! Manifesto for rebuilding Europe from the bottom up" (www.manifest-europa.eu). Also, it aims to take a first step in the implementation of a ‘European Year of Volunteering for Everyone’.

In this framework, the KA1 projects “EVS4ALL: A real European experience” and “EVS4ALL: Young people for Europe” allowed 9 youngsters with fewer opportunities to take part in short-term European Voluntary Services in Germany in 2016.

In the end of the projects, two video-clips were produced: you can discover more about our volunteers' experience with the Stuttgarter Jugendhaus and the St. Johannis GmbH.
