EuropeMobility (2008-2010)

Summary

Run from 2008 - 2010, EuropeMobility aimed at contributing to raise the quantity and quality of mobility in European Vocational and Technical Education. It contributed tothe transfer of the findings and results of the MoVe-IT study, conducted by PriceWaterhouseCoopers for the European Commission.

Europemobility published a guide book on work placements abroad, established a community of practice with public and private organisations involved in and promoting mobility with the purpose of stimulating work placements abroad, promoting awareness among practitioners of good practices and adoption of European tools and quality marks for mobility and work placements abroad. It also launched a video contest for young people to present their expereinces during a placement abroad.

Europemobility was an initiative of CSCS and the project was composed of different stakeholders representing European networks of VET providers, VET Schools and mobility players, social and economic actors. The project partners are: CSCS, PwC, EfVET, IKASLAN, AVIVA and the YES Forum.
