The dedicated “EVS20” website already lists events planned in Estonia, France, Hungary, Italy, Hungary, Portugal and Romania. The website will be updated with more events in the upcoming months, so don’t forget to have a look regularly if you are interested in joining the EVS20 celebrations!
Moreover, DG Education and Culture of the European Commission will be present at the European Youth Event and the Yo!Fest on 20-21 May to promote EVS in the anniversary year. There will be a session planned as part of the official EYE programme, but DG EAC is also planning to interact with as many young people as possible at the Yo!Fest – to inform them about how to get involved and answer their questions.
To do so, DG EAC is looking for volunteers from organisations involved in EVS to spread the word during the EYE: it will provide them with a jacket or t-shirt with the EVS logo and a text saying "Ask me about EVS!", so that they can answer the questions that might come from young people and spread the EVS family feeling.
