The partners involved in the VOICE project (PhotoVoice - Participation & Empowerment in Youth Work) held on the 1st and 2nd of February 2022 the second Transnational Project Meeting to check on the work done since the previous meeting and set the next steps. The meeting took place online with the presence of members of all the youth and creative partners collaborating on this project.
During these two days, partners shared ideas and feedback about the activities to be held during the next months. After a quick update on some organizational changes and setting some ground rules to facilitate their intercultural and international cooperation, the participants focused on the logistics of the different activities and trainings to be carried on.
The spotlight was put on the preparation of four Photovoice Trainings for social work students planned mid-year, and the creative results their input will lead to: a Video-tutorial about the Photovoice method, a Guide tailored for students, a Photo Exhibition and Policy Recommendations.
This allowed partners to agree on a detailed 2022 VOICE Calendar and to discuss specific aspects of their collaboration. The gathered input will now allow all partners to make swift progress in their respective tasks while taking each other’s needs and expertise into account!
The VOICE project focuses on using the innovative and creative approach of Photovoice to empower youth workers, future youth workers and young people around Europe by bringing together future and current youth workers, young people and creative organisations (eg. photographers and graphic designers).
